Childbirth Education: 3 Week Series | $275
This in-person, 9 hour childbirth education class is spread over three weeks in engaging, interactive sessions. Ideal for first-time parents and VBAC families, it provides a relaxed learning environment using evidence based information, storytelling and multi-sensory techniques. Topics include the physiology of birth, labor stages, comfort measures, partner and support roles, breastfeeding, postpartum adjustments, making decisions and navigating the tools offered in different birth locations. Participants also receive educational materials and access to a curated list of local CHS pregnancy, birth, and feeding resources.
Childbirth Education: Wham Bam Workshop | $175
This in-person, one-day childbirth workshop is offered as a condensed version of the full three-week series. Designed for experienced parents but open to all, it covers key topics like navigating your birthing location, decision-making with the B.R.A.I.N. acronym, building a supportive birth team, labor positions, hands-on comfort measures, and preparing for breastfeeding and postpartum success. Participants receive educational materials and access to a curated list of local CHS pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding resources.
A Brighter Breastfeeding Experience | $165
This class is taught by IBCLC Sarah Glenn and is one Monday a month in her office located at 1907 Varner St. Suite C Summerville, SC. Sarah covers everything you need to know for a successful breastfeeding journey. Topics include latch techniques, feeding schedules, recognizing hunger cues, avoiding common challenges pain management, partner support, milk storage and breastfeeding in public or after returning to work. Participants will also gain access to a well-curated list of breastfeeding support resources.
